Steps

Don't show interest in him. If you act like you
care about what he's doing, he'll think you like
him. This includes texting him, IM-ing him, and
posting on his facebook or myspace.

Try and let him down easy. For example: 'Um,
sorry, I'm not interested, but I'm sure there's a
girl out there for you.' Be sure to smile sweetly.

Change your tone. Sometimes "letting him down
easy" doesn't work. If he still keeps talking to
you, you need to stop being so nice. Instead,
keep your voice cold and formal.

Learn self-defense. Get pepper spray to let him
know you mean business if you think he's
dangerous.

Make sure to be honest with him if you still want
him as a friend.

Ignore him until he leaves you alone. This
includes blocking him from chat until you're sure
he's over you.

If none of these work, then just tell him flat out to
leave you alone. if he continues to annoy the hell
out of you, curse him out until it finally gets
through to him. This is a LAST RESORT.
