Can God really forsake someone because he¡¯s
passing through one difficulty or another? Is it
possible for God to ¡®send one to coventry¡¯
because one is experiencing some difficulties?
Can God reject one because he¡¯s suffering from
one challenge or another?
When you do things you wished to do, and you
enjoy them, it¡¯s a pleasure, but when you do
things you never wished to do, whether you
enjoyed them or not, it¡¯s a pressure, in another
word serious challenge.
Now have you ever wondered if God could for
one second forsake one because one is facing
one pressure or another?
God is merciful, loving, lovely, His mercy the
bible says endures forever, He cares for
everybody, He¡¯s LOVE, He only is the All-
merciful, All-gracious.
Jesus described the kind of person He is when
He talked about the prodigal son. In spite of all
the evil done by the prodigal son, He was still
eager, eager to receive him back. For someone
to exhibit such a love, definitely the love must be
extreme, so mystical.
Oh, God cannot forget anybody, God cannot
forsake you. As long as you live, He still wanna
have you back, He always wanna give out ¡°one
more chance¡± package. No one has been able to
understand or fathom the depth of His love. From
this depth, He dishes out the love to up. No
matter what you¡¯re passing through, even when
you appear to be the greatest sinner, He¡¯s still
merciful, Jesus bore/carried the greatest sin.
Just imagine, you just committed a sin, and you
had the opportunity to ask God that same
moment ¡°should i return to You, or i go away?¡±
what do you think God would say? Can He tell
you to go away? To go and meet the devil? When
He cares for every single soul? No He wouldn¡¯t.
Jesus again described the kind of person God is
when He talked about a man who had a hundred
sheep(luke 15:1-7). He said when he lost just
one of the sheep, he left a whole of other ninety-
nine sheep, and was seriously working on how he
would restore the one that was lost. You¡¯re
rather most aware that you¡¯re very precious in
the sight of God especially when you just
committed a sin and feel a little bit or so sober. A
little bit sober as in when the sin is now often or
perpetual, you know of course the sobriety will
fade the more often you commit the same sin,
which has to do with physical and mental
adaptation. However, that doesn¡¯t mean you¡¯re
not very sober or sorry. Our pearls often become
most precious when we lost them, and our wish
would be to recover them as fast as possible. So
are we in God¡¯s sight.
You may possibly think that the lost sheep as in
the passage refers to an unbeliever who is yet to
be saved, and not to a believer who¡¯s a
perpetual sinner or lost into sin. Common sense i
believe should tell you that when we say you lost
something, we also mean that the thing has been
with you. The lost sheep is us believers. We¡¯re
children and are lost into sin, but we will not
remain in it because God will find and take us
back.
God will never chase you away no matter the
number of times you¡¯ve committed the same
sin. So merciful, gracious, glorious, mighty, and
able to forgive you.
No matter what you¡¯ve done, the good news is
that, as long as you¡¯re sorrowful about it, as
long as it¡¯s against your wish, God remains your
Father and hence, He¡¯s working on your matter
to make sure He perfect things that concern you,
especially to make you whole and get delivered
from that sin. Now tell me. Is it this God that is
working so much to make sure He sees to your
welfare and then to your deliverance that will
forsake you because of your fall? He¡¯s not man,
He¡¯s God. He created you and you don¡¯t have
to tell Him you¡¯re not infallible. He already
knows. One can never be able to perfectly
comprehend the depth of His love.
God loves you. What have you done? Have you
committed fornication? Have you murdered a
soul or many? Is it adultery, bribery or you have
commited anything you regard as sin? And then
you feel like the world has come to a sudden
end? Like ¡± No! God is not gonna forgive me this
one¡±? You think God is man? No! Go to Him now!
Your mother may not forgive you, friends may
not forgive you, even your lovers may not, but
God voluntarily has got no choice than to forgive
you. Did He not command us to forgive our
friends 77 x 7 times, ahaa you see what i¡¯m
mean. Go to Him now. He has already forgiven
you even before you beg Him to do so.
Isn¡¯t it high time you began again to study your
bible like you did? Why not start. Pray to Him like
you did, He¡¯s a lovely God, He¡¯s not gonna slap
you no! He¡¯s gonna welcome you. |
